Apex isn’t called the “Peak of Good Living” for nothing. Location

Apex is located less than 20 minutes from and southeast of Research Triangle Park with direct highway access via NC-540. The town crests the watersheds of both the Neuse and Cape Fear rivers. It’s less than 30 minutes from three Tier-1 research universities: University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, North Carolina State University, and Duke University. Education

The Wake County Public School system has been recognized over the years for having one of the top-performing K-12 programs in the nation. It is the largest of North Carolina’s 58 community colleges and offers more than 200 associate’s degrees, diplomas, and certificates.

Apex offers an abundance of activities for all ages. Strolling down the main streets in the historic downtown area is a treat of boutique shopping and restaurants. In and around Apex, there are plenty of parks and spaces for picnicing as well as area lakes that provide camping, fishing, and boating activities.
